long beach marathon

I ran my second marathon this year, and shaved 18 mins. off my time. Clint, Kendal, Judith, and my Mom situated themselves about 100 feet before the finish line, and I got to see them cheering for me like crazy right before I finished. (Which totally made me cry.) It was such joy to have them there! My family rocks!

Kendal is getting girly!

Kendal has worn more dresses in the last week than she has than in the rest of her life. Turns out, if she is wearing a dress, she can go to the bathroom herself...yay! Now if I could only get her to not kick off her'underpants' when she pulls them down. Many of these dresses she received when she was a newborn, and in my head, I jsut thought she would NEVER be big enough to actully have them fit. Is it for real? 2T is NOW?!?!

Actually, I think she prefers being completely naked. I am sure after having to wear a diaper all this time, not wearing one must feel so invigorating! No bunchy crotch. I agree!

Ok, more than just photos.

I suppose it is time to actually write complete thoughts on here, seeing that Kendal is more than just a cute face, and so many things are happening with our family! I don't know if there is a need to breakdown life in the last 10 months or so, so I'll just jump in on this thing and act like I've been regularly writing here forever with a brief synopsis here:

August:
Clint-Lots of Golf
Janet-Vegas
Kendal-jumping

September:
Italy for 2 weeks with the Johnsons---amazing!
Kendal: Says Ciao Bella to everyone

October:
San Diego for Stroller Strides Conference
Judith came up for Thanksgiving

November:
Janet & Kendal: Hawaii for Igasaki Gathering, Highlight, Scuba Diving
Stroller Strides Growing!

December:
Johnson's in CA for Christmas
Clint spent New Year's with his brother Zak

January:
Kendal starts her pre-pre-school, and LOVEs it. Teacher Patty is her favorite.
Janet:Stroller Strides Growing and so fun!
Clint: Working hard and itching to golf

February:
4 year anniversary- woohoo!
Clint's Birthday
Kendal: With runny nose, learned how to blow her nose!
Still cold outside!

March:
Johnson's: Napa Trip
Janet: 1st Marathon and Birthday
Clint: Skiing in Tahoe/Reno for his 'mancation'
Kendal: Lots of playdates, and has learned not to pinch other kid's...for the most part.
